Overview
Although the Mera Peak is a trekking peak, you should consider on the possibility of high altitude sickness because it is the highest trekking peak in Nepal. At its top, the air contains half the oxygen that it is at the sea level.
In case it is your first high altitude trek, we don’t recommend this climb to you. If you have already done any trekking, you can attempt it and it might be a perfect adventure for you. The utmost altitude of Mera Peak does need your endurance level and stamina but no technical skill is required for this adventure.
The adventure begins with a wonderful approach to Arun Valley leaving behind the crowd of Everest trek. From the top of the peak, you will have majestic view of the chain of tallest Himalayan mountains including the southern face of world’s tallest Mount. Everest.
