Overview
Everest Three Passes and Island Peak Climbing traces the same route of Everest Base Camp Trek until reaching at Namche Bazaar. After that, it leaves for Gokyo, while EBC route goes toward Tengboche village. In this trip, you will encounter world highest passes which is a great adventure itself. On the other hand, summit to the Island Peak (6189 m) means a lot for any adventure seekers as it is the first step to the mountaineering in the Himalaya.
Trail Himalaya has designed this itinerary considering about the possibilities of altitude sickness. Therefore, our trail first completes the trekking in 3 high passes which is 5000 m above the sea level and then face the challenge of Island Peak Climb. When you successfully trek such a strenuous route, then Island Peak Climbing will be far easier. So, it is the most recommended route and activities before heading for climbing Island Peak.
