Overview
Ghorepani-Poonhill, with Trail Himalaya, will be your most worthwhile adventure holiday within a short period of time in Nepal Himalaya of little more than a week duration.
Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking leads you to Nepal’s North Mid West Himalaya within high hills covered in a dense lovely serene forest of tall rhododendron-magnolia-oaks-pines and fir trees, exploring traditional Gurung farm villages in the shade of mighty Annapurna Mountains that dominate during the walks to Ghorepani-Poonhill Trekking.
Truly a great walk that fascinates you from the start to the end overlooking views of Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545 ft) Vara-Shikar peaks / Annapurna Fang, Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Huin-Chuli, Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft) with Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish-tail) the unclimbed and virgin peak with Lamjung Himal and world 8th highest Manaslu (8,163 m) towards east.
Beginning our great adventure to Ghorepani-Poonhill trekking from beautiful Pokhara city within a scenic valley with mountains-green hills and lakes, where short drive leads to the hills of Annapurna Himalaya.
Walking past lovely woodland and traditional farm villages of Gurung people following the raging Modi River upstream right up to its glacial source at Annapurna Base Camp within a sanctuary covered with a series of snow-capped peaks.
After a marvelous time at base camp and around Annapurna sanctuary in the comfort of a local nice cozy lodge then head back to Pokhara with great memories and the adventure of a lifetime on Ghorepani-Poonhill trekking
Arrival in Katmandu, transfer to hotel, Preparation For trekking.
Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist Bus/ Car or by flight.
Pokhara to Nayapul by Car/Van the Trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m) 4 hrs.
Trekking Tikedhunga to Ghorepani ( 2860 m) 6 hrs.
Climb to Poonhill (3210 m) 4 hrs.
Walk to Ghandruk (1,250m) further to Nayapool and drive to Pokhara.
Fly or drive to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
Final departure.

Important Note: Your safety is of paramount concern while traveling with Trail Himalaya. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails traveling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
