Overview
The Everest Special Trek trek follows the same route as the Everest Base Camp Trek which passes through an alpine forest offering incredible views of the mountain range. During the trek, you will stay overnight in a homestay where you have your daily meals and a bed for sleeping. Meanwhile, you can experience the best hospitality of local sherpa people and their cultures and traditions.
After reaching Everest Base Camp and spending 30 – 45 minutes capturing your best moments in the cameras, then you will fly back to the Lukla by helicopter where you will get relaxed in a lodge celebrating the trip’s success. Next day, you will take a short flight back to Kathmandu, and in the evening, we will have dinner together in a typical Nepali restaurant and review your everyday activities of the trek.
Arrival in Kathmandu (1350 m) and transfer to the hotel.
Trek preparation or Kathmandu half day sightseeing (optional).
Fly to Lukla 2,810 m and horse ride to Phakding 2,641 m - 04 hrs walks.
Horse ride to Namche Bazaar 3,450 m - 06 hrs
Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
Horse ride to Thyangboche Monastery 3,867 m - 05 hrs.
Horse ride to Dingboche 4,400 m - 05hrs
Horse ride to Lobuche 4,930 m - 05 hrs
Horse ride to Gorakshep5180m and Hike to Everest Base Camp 5364 m after lunch and back to Gorakshep.
Hike to Kalapathar (5545 m) and Fly back to Lukla by Helicopter.
Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
Final departure.
